The first day of the IGSD, will focus on the ‘6 pre-agreed technical working groups’, where participants are given the chance to ‘match-making by subject area’.  The subject area include Social and Cultural Studies; Energy and Environmental Studies; Engineering, Transportation and Logistics; ICT, Electronics and Computer Science; Geo-sciences, Geography and Agricultural Sciences; Health and Medical Sciences; that are discussed in separate parallel panels, to discuss

1. Challenges and achievements of best practice examples
2. Existing fields of interest between participants/universities/research institutions
3. Information on which organization is the potential funding organization/institute
4. Future expected challenges and achievements of these projects

Through this parallel panels The participating research and funding institutes and education and research supporting organizations are expected to come-up with a one-year action plan indicating how they are going to intensify and deepen the Iran and Germany scientific activities, where preferably specific subject areas of interest should be identified.

Also an Open Mach-Making will be done through an face to face meetings of the participants in the exhibition and stalls for that will arranged for the registered German institutes and organizations in the event.
